HELLO THERE!
I am a mostly self taught semi-professional photographer based in Johannesburg South Africa.

African by birth, I was born in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) in 1967, and moved to South Africa in 1983.
I have also lived in Germany and Italy for three years and traveled extensively with only Canada, the far Far East, South America and the Poles yet to be conquered.

I am a Canon fanatic and currently shoot with an EOS 70D and an assortment of lenses. I started this hobby in the days of film with a Yashica and as technology gained momentum, I switched to digital with the IXUS 5 as my first digital owner experience. For my 40th birthday I treated myself to a Canon EOS 400D, a camera I still use today, along with a recently acquired EOS 40D.

My favorite genres are architecture, particularly windows and doors, landscapes, as well as boats, but will photograph anything that catches my eye.

Despite my resistance, I gave in to the urge to do weddings and whilst I have along way to go to perfecting my flash photography, I have enjoyed the experience!
